This game is actually a sequel to the HyperRouge game. In this game, you play as an adventurer who steps into a non-Euclidean world. A world that does not follow the laws of Euclid and has a unique shape and appearance. Your task is to act as this adventurer and search for valuable jewels hidden in this world and collect various jewelry as much as you can. But doing so is not as easy as you might think. In this strange world, there are monster-like creatures that attack you as soon as they see you. Therefore, you must collect as much gold and jewels as possible before these monsters reach you. Throughout the HyperRogue Gold game, you will travel to various locations and worlds, each with different appearances and features. For example, each world has its own enemies, obstacles, and unique jewels, and to excel in each one, you must first become familiar with it and identify its features. In these stages, your focus should be on finding the main valuable jewels known as the Orbs of Yendor. If you find one of them, you will win, but you can continue to challenge the game and be satisfied with collecting smaller jewels.

The world where the main character of the game goes is not geometrically and geographically like the earth, and the game makers have called it “a world with unusual geometry”.
