The Ringo Pro: Text & Call Alerts app disables notifications from the GO SMS Pro and Handcent messaging apps. If one of these two apps is installed on your phone and you want to use Ringo Pro: Text & Call Alerts without any interference, follow the steps below:
– In the GO SMS Pro messaging app, go to Menu / Settings / Advanced tab / Notification Settings, then uncheck the Notifications option. Next, go to Receive Settings and uncheck the Disable other message notification option.
– In the Handcent messaging app, go to Tap Menu / Settings / Application Settings and select the ‘Default Messaging Application’ option; then choose to disable it and finally activate ‘Lower priority’.
