In the game Runaway Toad, you have to help this frog escape from the prince’s palace and return to its home. Your job is to guide it through challenging paths, which include swamps and marshes with rocks that actually form your path. You must jump from one rock to another to progress. Along the way, you can eat various insects to earn points or special abilities. By advancing in the game and earning more points, you can unlock better and stronger frogs. The gameplay of Runaway Toad is easy to follow with just one finger. The game teaches you how to play in the first run. To eat insects, you just need to swipe your finger towards them, and to jump from one rock to another, you must hold your finger on the screen to determine the necessary energy. This energy is shown to you by a curved target and indicates your landing point. Therefore, you must release it before the energy gets too high or wait if there is not enough energy. This part of the game is tricky and challenging. If you fail to land on the rocks and fall into the marsh, the prince’s owl will find you and return you to him.
